Endowment Fund

For long-term sustainability

The Friends of the Gardens on Spring Creek has an endowment fund through the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado. The Community Foundation is a nonprofit, public charity that currently manages more than 300 funds.

The endowment fund helps us to realize our vision of making the Gardens on Spring Creek a world-class botanic garden that is community-oriented, educational, experiential, and sustainable.

The Friends of the Gardens endowment fund will allow for:

  • Planned Giving: philanthropic individuals or donors now can make larger gifts. If you are considering a planned gift, the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado provides free legal counsel. The legal counsel can help you maximize your donor benefit through estate and tax planning techniques.
  • Bequests: allow you to plan for future gifts through a will or a life insurance policy.
  • Permanence Planning: to help The Gardens achieve long-term financial sustainability to reduce or eliminate our reliance on government and grant resources.

To donate to the endowment fund, contact The Community Foundation. Their team can confidently handle gifts involving complex assets, gift annuities, and trust arrangements.
