Proposed design of the new Foothills Mall
Opening in 2015
The Foothills Mall revitalization project will cost an estimated $312 million, including a proposed $53 million City investment of future sales tax revenue from the redevelopment area. In conjunction with the new Mason Bus Rapid Transit system, or MAX, the Foothills project is also expected to be a catalyst for improvements to public infrastructure and business redevelopment in the Midtown area, including the Mason Corridor.
