DESCRIPTION:New Legacies: Contemporary Art Quilts features the best in contemporary Art Quilts by artists from around the United States and Canada. Unique approaches to surface design, new textile materials, composition, and stitching techniques make these quilts innovative and inventive.Exhibition dates are July 3 - September 5, 2012, with an opening reception and awards presentation on Friday, July 13, 5-8 p.m.Gallery hours are Tuesdays - Fridays, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., Saturdays noon - 6 p.m., and evenings during theatre performances at Lincoln Center.
