SUMMARY:Chautauqua Tour
DESCRIPTION:On July 4, 1898, more than 4,000 people gathered for the opening day of the Colorado Chautauqua. Boulder civic leaders and Texas educators joined together to create a cultural and educational summer retreat. Today, the Colorado Chautauqua is one of three remaining Chautauquas in the United States, and the only site west of the Mississippi River. You will tour this facility near the flatirons and then have lunch in the dining hall.
Note: Fee includes van transportation, tour, lunch and escort. There are many hills and stairs involved.
