The Cache la Poudre River, which flows through the heart of Fort Collins, is at the center of countless activities: from irrigating crops and lawns to providing drinking water to hosting numerous recreational sports. Representatives from several City departments and many people with connections to the Poudre will be gathering for the second annual Poudre River Forum, “One River, Many Voices”, Saturday, January 31, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Ranch Events Complex’s South Hall, 5280 Arena Circle Dr., Loveland. Registration is open until January 26.

Pruning your shade trees correctly while they’re small makes all the difference in their shape and
health as they mature. Learn correct pruning techniques for shade and ornamental trees both young and old. Weather permitting, part of this class will be hands-on outdoors in the Garden.
