Tom Hobbs, CSU professor in the Department of Ecosystem Science, will present findings on a study to understand the dynamics of deer population infected with chronic wasting disease. Research has included fitting deer with radio telemetry collars at Soapstone Prairie. The project will determine if the population is growing or declining, and hopefully help researchers understand how CWD influences population growth relative to predation and other factors. Bring a sack lunch if desired. Free. No registration required.
