The constellation Scorpius crawls into the southern sky in the summer, along with other interesting summer constellations. Learn how to spot summer constellations, hear stories behind them, and how the sky changes through the seasons at a brief program, followed by viewing the sky with telescopes provided by the Northern Colorado Astronomical Society. Meet at the picnic shelter, 1/8 mile from the parking lot. Please arrive on time--the gate closes after the program begins and parking is not allowed on the road outside the gate. Free.
