Now you can save BIG year-round on energy-efficient compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs. Fort Collins Utilities and Platte River Power Authority are partnering with local retailers to offer discounted pricing on ENERGY STAR® qualified CFLs. Many styles are available. Brands, selection, pricing and limits vary from store to store. CFL bulbs contain a trace amount of mercury (no bigger than the period at the end of this sentence). When your CFL burns out, please do not put it in the trash. There are convenient, free recycling options available in Fort Collins.
