Edwards, Andrew (2005) The Sustainability Revolution – presents a clear, concise articulation of the history of sustainability. It details The Natural Step, The Houston Principles, the Ceres Principles, the Forest Stewardship Principles, biomimicry and permaculture principles.

Dunphy, Dexter (2007) Organizational Change for Corporate Sustainability – covers phase models of sustainability, pre-compliance, governance, eco-efficiencies, human efficiencies, and generic competitive environmental strategies.
