Nuisance Hotline

The City of Fort Collins has initiated a "Nuisance Hotline" where citizens can submit a complaint online or over the phone to report a variety of problems. By using the hotline, citizens can be assured that their problem will be reported to the appropriate department.

Following are the types of issues which can be reported to the Nuisance Hotline.

  The Larimer Humane Society is contracted by the City of Fort Collins to handle any animal related code enforcement. To make a barking dog nuisance complaint click on the button below and fill out the online form.

  Note: The form mentioned above is a generic form that is used for barking dog complaints as well as animal cruelty complaints. While the incident you are reporting may or may not involve animal cruelty this form (entitled "Larimer Humane Society Animal Cruelty Investigation Form") is the correct form.

Parking

• Vehicles parked on lawns or inoperable vehicle on private property
• Vehicle parked wrong way on street or blocking a sidewalk
• Inoperable or abandoned (parked greater than 48 hours) vehicles on public street

In addition to the online "Nuisance Hotline" forms, you can submit your nuisance complaint using the "Nuisance Hotline" phone number.

The City of Fort Collins has initiated a "Nuisance Hotline" where citizens can call to report a variety of problems. The "Nuisance Hotline" number is 416-2200. By using the hotline, callers can be assured that their problem will be reported to the appropriate department, without the inconvenience of being transferred multiple times.

During the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday - Friday, the hotline will be staffed by employees of Neighborhood Services. After hours and on weekends, the hotline will go to a recorded information system that will prompt callers to the appropriate voice mailbox. Messages will be promptly dealt with the morning of the next business day.
