This interactive event includes lunch and a unique and inspiring keynote presentation on Biomimicry by Marie Zanowick, creative environmental engineer with the Environmental Protection Agency and recent graduate of the Biomimicry 2010 Certificate Program.
Biomimicry (from bios, meaning life, and mimesis, meaning to imitate) is an innovative method that seeks sustainable solutions by emulating nature’s time–tested patterns and strategies (e.g., a solar cell inspired by a leaf). The goal is to create products, processes and policies—new ways of living—that are well adapted to life on earth over the long haul.
Join us for lunch, learning and networking. Agenda and registration information soon will be available at fcgov.com/BusinessInnovationFair. For more information, call (970) 221-6700, TDD (970) 224-6003 or email .
