One of our colleagues and regional economic development leaders has recently taken a new job. Front Range Community College has hired Kelly Peters, the former Chief Operating Officer at Rocky Mountain Innovation Initiative (RMI2) to head up their Corporate Solutions and Small Business Development office.
Front Range Community College’s Corporate Solutions and Small Business Development offices provide resources to companies seeking to improve the skills and professional development of employees and processes across organizations such as business development, legal services or marketing. The office can assist any sized company—from entrepreneurs/start ups to major international firms with locations in Northern Colorado.
In her new position, Kelly also oversees Front Range Community College’s two employee-training programs (offered through the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade and the Colorado Community College System). Colorado First grants are for companies that are relocating to Colorado or existing companies that are undertaking a major expansion. Existing Industry grants are designed for Colorado companies that are implementing new technology to remain competitive and keep jobs in Colorado.
We thank Kelly for her contributions and the impact she’s made, and wish her well in this new venture. Learn more about the Corporate Solutions and Small Business Development Office and how Kelly’s team can take your company to the next level with professional training and resources.
