November Innovation After Hours Re-Cap
The Future’s so Bright: Advanced Energy’s Contribution to Solar Energy
Established businesses such as Advanced Energy are finding economic development opportunities in high profile, energy projects. For Advanced Energy, that means solar photovoltaic research, development and application of their unique solar inverter product, Solaron. In November, more than 100 local business professionals attended Innovation After Hours to hear more about solar projects, inverter technology break throughs and Advanced Energy’s plans for future community and commercial solar projects.
Advanced Energy is a proud partner in the FortZED initiative. Along with a multitude of diverse partners, Advanced Energy will contribute expertise and technology to demonstrate that the Fort Collins grid can reduce peak load energy needs by 20-30 percent. The FortZED project will use 3.5 megawatts of renewable energy.
