Bicycle Recycling

Find an abandoned bike? Have a bike you'd like to donate? The Fort Collins Bike Co-op works to collect and refurbish bicycles in Fort Collins. They refurbish bicycles and use them for an "Earn-a-Bike" program. They also give them to individuals and families who qualify as socially or financially challenged. All bikes that cannot be refurbished are truly recycled, that is no bike frames or bike parts ever enter the landfill.

FC residents are encouraged to drop off bikes at the Bike Co-op at 331 North College Avenue (484-3804). Volunteer resources for picking up bikes on a day to day basis is limited. In the event, a found bicycle cannot be dropped off, please make an arrangement with the co-op to pick up the bike. Thank you.
