Join us for Wednesday's Bike Lunch Talk (10/14) 

~ Bike Lunch Talk High Noon - downstairs at Homestate Bank (303 E. Mountain Ave.).  Bring a lunch and join us for an informal bicycle discussion.  Topic for this Wednesday's BLT will include an update on the latest bicycle happennings in Fort Collins as well as preview for upcoming Bike Lunch Talk topics in 2010.  Hope to see you there!

~ Poudre River Trail Detour Planned -  City of Fort Collins Parks Division will close a section of the Poudre River Trail from October 19th through October 23rd.  The closure will allow Forestry crew members access to work on trees and other vegetation.  A detour is planned from the Poudre River Trail access area on Lincoln Avenue, northeast on Lincoln Avenue to Lemay Avenue and south on Lemay Avenue to the access point on the northwest corner of Mulberry Street and Lemay Avenue.

~ Dio de los Rio Swap - (bike swap and fiesta) - Saturday, October 17th from 6:30 - 10:00pm. - Upstairs at the Rio.  Come by to sell, buy, and celebrate.  Brought to you by Your Group Ride!

~ Bike Co-op Offers Smart Cycling Class - November 7th - (scholarships available) - The Smart Cycling class is for experienced and novice bicyclists.  This class is part of the wide ranging cirriculum of smart cycling courses offered by the League of American Bicyclists.  The goal of the class is to teach the principles and practices of "vehicular cycling." ~ Winter Bike to Work Day is December 16th - Contact FC Bikes to sign up as a breakfast station.  More details coming soon.
