The Six Day Races at the Oval make a great opportunity for youth and adults to engage in the sport of cycling.  This friendly, competitive event is great for all ages and abilities and provides an excellent opportunity to get some good exercise as well as enjoy the beauty of CSU's historic Oval.  See you there!

4th Annual 6 Day Races at the CSU Oval

On May 15, the Fort Collins Velodrome Association will kick off its 4th-annual "6 Day Races at the CSU Oval", presented by Associates in Family Medicine. This bike-racing event will take place each Sunday for six consecutive weeks on the Oval at Colorado State University. 

There will be race categories for fixed-gear and freewheeling bicycles. All ages of cyclists are welcome — children, teens, and recreational adult riders, plus all licensed categories. The public is invited to participate in the racing or as spectators of the exciting, fast-action, strategy-driven racing.

Race dates are:  May 15, May 22, May 29, June 5, June 12 and June 19 (with a rain date of June 26). Pre-registration is available online until midnight 5/14. Race day registration, and on-course warmup begins at 3PM and closes at 3:45 (for racers !7 and under). 

Registration for 18+ racers closes at 4:45. $10 for adult racers, and $5 for 2nd category. Racers under 18, and spectators are always free. For more information about 6-Day Races at the CSU Oval or the FCVA, visit Follow Fort Collins Velodrome Association on Facebook.

3rd Annual Ram Bicycle Classic (CSU Campus)

Four rides including a 101-mile, metriccentury, half-metric-century & family cruiser ride. Post-ride party. Proceeds support CSU Global Social & Sustainable Enterprise Program. Sponsored by CSU GSSE program.


May 28, 8:00am-3:00pm

Kids II Bicycle Clinic (Northside Azatlan Center)

This 7-hour class for 5th and 6th graders covers the same topics as Traffic Skills 101, including on-bike skills as well as choosing safe routes for riding. RSVP
