• 3/9 - Diamond Peaks Mountain Bike Patrol Season Kick-Off - at New Belgium Co. 6:30pm to 8:30pm - If you like to mountain bike, build trails, and want mountain biking to remain a viable activity in the region come check out DPMBP.

• 4/4 - FC Bike Library season kickoff - at Old Town Square 11am to 2pm - Celebrate the season opening of the Bicycle Library.

• 4/8 - Village Bicycle Project Movie Event - at New Belgium Brewing Co. 7pm to 10pm - Fort Collins Bike Co-op and New Belgium are teaming up to raise money for the Village Bicycle Project and the Ghana Project. The evening includes a silent auction, door prizes, and screening of the movie Ayamye followed by a Q&A with VBP's Director, Dave Peckham.  Admission is $10.
  
• 4/11 - FC Bike Co-op Spring Cleaning Bike Drive! - at Bike Co-Op on 222 Laporte 10am to 6pm - Fort Collins Bike Co-op is conducting a “Spring Cleaning” bike donation drive to help accumulate more bikes and parts to be shipped to Ghana. The drive focuses primarily on adult bikes,but will put any bike related donations to best use.

• 6/14 - Art In Public Places Bike Tour - at Fort Collins - This bike trip around Fort Collins visits several "art in public spaces" projects.  This event combines activities of the Colorado Mountain Club, the FTC Art In Public Places Board, and of course Bicycling.  for more info.
• 6/22 - Sunset Cruiser Ride - 5:30pm to 9pm - Meet at 5:30 p.m.at The Cycologist (217 Linden St.) and join fellow cyclists on a casual sunset cruiser ride northwest along the Poudre Trail to the Swing Station for an evening of leisurely activities in the quaint town of Laporte.

• 6/25 - Bike to Skate Night - 5pm to 8pm - Meet at 5:00pm at Brave New Wheel (105 E. Myrtle) for a group ride to Rollerland (324 S. Link) for a private party from 6:00-8:00pm.  All ages welcome!
  
• 6/26 - Bike n' Jazz - 6:30pm to 8:30pm - Free event featuring live jazz concert amid the peaceful gardens at The Gardens on Spring Creek (2145 Center Ave.)
  
• 6/27 - BMX at Epic - EPIC 2pm to 4pm - Epic BMX would like to offer a free bike clinic to kids of all ages or even parents who would like to participate .  Bring your child to the newly remodeled Epic BMX track.  This clinic will focus on basic skills of learning how to maneuver around a BMX track safely.  We will focus on safely aspects like the importance of wearing a bike helmet as well as wearing long sleeves and long pants while riding the track.  We will also cover the various obstacles that riders will face while on a BMX track, such as the starting hill and gate, the rhythm section, table tops and turns.    At the end of the clinic each participant will receive an award.  
  
• 6/27 - Bike Prom Night "Bicycling Under the Stars" - 8pm to 2am - 8:00 till curfew at the Sunset Event Center (242 Linden St).  This fun bash will feature local DJs spinning tunes all night, all the dancing you can handle, ample bike parking, raffle prizes, photo booth, and crowning of Bike Prom King and Queen.  Get tickets ($10.00 each) at any local  bike shop.  Fundraiser for B.I.K.E. Camp (Bicycles Improve Kids Experiences).
  
• 6/28 - FC Bike Quest - 8:30am to 12pm - FC Bikes is seeking 10 teams of 5 bicyclists each to embark upon a treasure hunt throughout Fort Collins.  Teams are provided fun clues they must solve in order to complete the hunt and win fantastic prizes.  Helmets are mandatory. Meet at Lee's Cyclery (202 W. Laurel) at 8:30am.
  
• 6/28 - Lory State Park Trails Day - at Lory State Park 8:30am to 5pm - Come out and join Overland Mountain Bike Club and Diamond Peaks Mountain Bike Patrol on Sunday at 8:30am to work on the trails at Lory State Park. Register at http://overlandmtb.org

• 7/19 - Urban Assult Ride - at Start/Finish: El Monte Grill:611 S. College 9am to 2pm - A funky bike scavenger hunt where teams hit checkpoints throughout Fort Collins and complete crazy obstacles.  A party follows with beer, music, and raffles.

August

• 8/8 - Pedal Festival - at Old Town Square 4pm to 8pm - Join the MountainAveMusicShack at the Old Town Square Stage for live music and a bike decorating contest.  A $5 fonation per performer is suggested.

College 6pm to 8pm - The Bicycle Advisory Committee (BAC)  is a resource for community members to voice their opinions and concerns about bicycling in Fort Collins. All citizens are invited to attend committee meetings which take place the second Monday of every month.
  The Bicycle Advisory Committee (BAC) is a subcommittee of the Transportation Board. The BAC reviews bicycle plans for capital improvements and provides recommendations to the Transportation Board regarding bicycle policies, and prioritizes bike plan recommendations.
  
• 8/22 - Tour de Farms - 9am to 5pm - Riders will be able to join on a leisurely 20 mile tour to various farms. Visit cutting edge urban agriculture projects, hear presentations from farmers, gain useful tools and knowledge for your own garden, find out ways you can support area efforts to strengthen our local food system and eat delicious local food with delightful local people. • 8/28 - Old Town Cruiser Bike Ride - at Old Town 4:30pm to 9pm - The 2009 Fort Collins Cycling Festival kicks off in grand fashion Friday, August 28th with activities sure to bring a smile to your face and maybe take an inch off your waist. This is truly a fun event
• 8/29 - Edible Urban Garden Tour - at - Find out where the most beautiful edible gardens are in Fort Collins. This is not just a bike ride. This is a lesson in gardening unlike others we've seen.
  
• 8/29 - Rist Canyon Hill Climb and Road Race - 7:30am to 3:30pm - Citizens and licensed riders are invited to participate in the road race.  Only licensed riders may participate in the ACA Hill Climb.  Visit fccyclingfest.com for more information and registration.

• 9/13 - Cycle for Seniors - at Poudre River Learning Center (8313 F. Street, Greeley) 8:30am to 1:30pm - The 2nd Annual fundraiser for Senior Resource Services.  An intergenerational joyride where you can bicycle, blade, run or walk along the Poudre River Trail.  Registration is 8:30-10:30am.  Lunch is included from 11:30-1:30pm.  Register online at www.seniorsourceservices.info.  $20 for Adults $10 for seniors, students, and children.
