Trash Can Project
Artists: Fort Collins Community Members
Location: Various City Parks
This project is a collaboration between the Art in Public Places Program and the City's Parks Department. The goal is to beautify these functional pieces by inviting area youth and community members to create special artwork for the trash cans.
Schools that have participated include Blevins Junior High, Dunn Elementary, McGraw Elementary, Saint Joseph School and Lab School. BHA Design, Vaught Fry Architects and several local artists have also painted cans.
