The City of Fort Collins Adaptive Recreation Opportunities (ARO) program provides quality and equal opportunities for recreation and leisure programs to community members with disabilities. ARO provides recreational opportunities for children, teens, and adults with various disabilities including physical, mental, developmental, social, and/or emotional challenges. Programs are offered at various locations during the day, in the evenings, and on weekends.
Volunteers are a vital piece to the success of our services. No experience is necessary; training will be provided. Without volunteers, many of our programs would not exist. You could help make a difference in the lives of people with special needs!
